I placed my order earlier this week, and when it arrived, most of the items were exactly what I needed. A couple of the substitutions weren’t quite what I would’ve picked, though, and I noticed one item was missing when I was putting everything away. Overall, it was okay, just not perfect this time.

Checkout was really fast. I paid and was done in like no time.

I’ve been using savemart.com mainly when I notice their weekly deals show up, especially before I’m about to do a grocery run anyway. I don’t go on there expecting some huge miracle discount, but what I like is that the deals are actually on normal stuff I would buy, not just random items no one in my house eats or tiny savings that barely matter.

I’ve had a good experience with Save Mart substitutions so far. When something is out, they usually pick something close enough and I get an update quickly. I reached out to support, they actually got back to me quickly, and they told me exactly what to do. No endless back-and-forth, no weird excuses, no waiting forever while getting frustrated. I’ve been grabbing steak and salmon from Save Mart lately, first impression every time is that it’s fresh. The steak cooks up really nicely, and the salmon doesn’t have that weird fishy smell. Easy snap judgment for me: I’m happy with it and I’ll keep buying it.

I kind of use the usual mental shortcut of “if the fruit looks fresh, everything else is probably fine,” but that didn’t totally work out this time. Some of the fruit was great, but the lettuce went bad way faster than I expected. It wasn’t a horrible experience or anything, I just wish they were a little more careful checking the produce before putting it out.

I’ve tried the deli a few times, and it’s kind of hit or miss for me. Some days everything tastes fresh and good, but other times the meat seems a little dry, at least from what I’ve had. It’s not bad overall, but I do think it could be more consistent...
